About the Estate
From Historic Campground to Modern Retreat
Carter Bridge Estate began as a small motel and children’s campground in East Durham — a nostalgic Catskills property that eventually sat vacant for several years. When found, the land and buildings were simply waiting for someone to bring them back to life.
We restored and reimagined the entire estate, redesigning each space with a higher standard of comfort, style, and modern hospitality. Today, nearly 80 acres of ponds, fields, and thoughtfully renovated lodging provide a one-of-a-kind setting for weddings, retreats, family reunions, and group getaways.
The property continues to evolve, and we’re always open to hosting unique experiences of all kinds. Reach out to learn more about planning your event or stay at Carter Bridge Estate.
